The Gingerbread Man

Last term we made gingerbread with the help of one of our mums. We had fun measuring and mixing. We iced our gingerbread men and they all looked different. Then we took them home to show our families and eat them. YUM!

Room 7 got a special visitor this week and we are so happy to see he is on the mend and will soon be back at school with us.

We love going to the library on a Friday morning. We are learning about Fiction and Non Fiction books and sometimes we enjoy doing puzzles together.

Our Fairy Tales Morning

To ignite learning for our new topic about Fairy Tales, we had a special Fairy Tales morning with the Junior and Middle School. We all dressed up as a character from a fairy tale and had a shared morning tea. It was lots of fun and the children are excited about learning more about the history of fairy tales. The children have written some recounts about their morning.
